Special thanks to Patrick Carleton and Brad Spirrison for making my attendance possible.<\/p>\n<p>Michael stated that it is his division\u2019s mandate to, \u201cOrganize the world\u2019s local information and make it useful.\u201d He then stated that, \u201cNo one company can do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most important use of Google maps will take place off of Google.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Examples<br \/>\nBus Monster \u2013 GPS actual bus locals with Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>Unesco \u2013\u00a0 maps<\/p>\n<p>Mashups &#8211; news site<\/p>\n<p>Maxim magazine cover on the desert floor.<\/p>\n<p>Sketchup &#8211; 3d modeling<\/p>\n<p>New and Interesting<br \/>\n* Google Maps for Mobile<\/p>\n<p>* Google Sitemaps \u2013 do our work for us.
