Did Google Update Backlinks Everywhere?

My backlinks increased substancially in the past day or so.

Anybody else see the same changes and are we in the middle of a pagerank update?

    Oh I’ve read within 2 to 3 days the Google pagerank toolbar will get an update. Site monetizers, like me, are getting giddy now.
