Or, more correctly, that Akismet is smart enough to listen to the mass of comment moderators who would recognize and label spam that that the spammers try to manually approve. I think that's a safe assumption, but I'll be interested to know, months down the road, how often you have to do this (read: the the problem keep recurring).
