Thanks for the Top 9 list! Appreciate the detailed feedback. Wanted to let you know that we have a story planned for the "Moo Mail" cow that you've inquired about. Thought all of our readers might want a bit more enlightenment on just how a large, fiberglass bovine took up residence in our lobby. Stay tuned.
I won't tackle all of your points here, but to respond to a few... yes, our corporate colors are purple and white, but our designer wanted a bit more chromatic license (which we cleared through our oh-so-stringent brand stewards). The orange is part of our color pallette and we thought it really made the page pop. As for Wordpress vs. 360, see my comment (http://yodel.yahoo.com/2006/08/01/yet-another-self-serving-corporate-blog/#comment-117) in response to a few inquiries on that subject. And I wanted to clarify that the data center you see in our headquarters tour video is actually for our corporate network (not Yahoo.com) -- but rest assured that we have redundancies built in at server farms in strategic locations to safeguard our employees and users. Can't say more than that -- you know, undisclosed locations. But suffice it to say, our BCP experts thought about all that years ago.
Thanks for the feedback. And yes, you'll hear from our execs. We're less than a week old - we'll get there!
Cheers,
Nicki Dugan
